Son of Hercules

The Son of Hercules flies up to take arms up against those that overthrew Zeus and captured his father.
.
Done in Photoshop as a piece for my portfolio, it probably took me around 20 hours (probably got too tied up in the details).

Xaris Barbarian Warrior

This is a portfolio piece I did, original WIP thread can be found here: http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthr...93&page=1&pp=15.
.
I don't have z-brush yet, so the model was done entirely in 3DS Max 8, with textures in Photoshop including the normal maps which were converted using nvidia's filter. He is 8526 triangles, long dagger is 154, halberd is 172. Textures are done with 3 maps of 1024x1024 for diffuse, specular level and normal maps.
.
Xaris is a wandering mercenary for hire, not looking for gold or fame, just looking for the good fight as that was how he was raised in his nomadic tribe. The sun and sword icon on his chest piece is an homage to his people's warrior Sun God, and the halberd on his front kilt piece is for his clan, and obviously his weapon of choice.
Hope you enjoy, but let me know what you think.

Siren Of The Sea

This picture was inspired by a picture of my wife where she had a similar pose. I wanted the painting to be alluring and sexy with an element of fantasy. So I thought it was fitting to call it "Siren of the Sea". I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
